Hello families,
We hope you enjoyed meeting with your teacher at Parent-Teacher conferences.

Thank you for taking the time to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences. We truly value the opportunity to connect with you and share in your child’s growth and learning. These conversations help strengthen the important partnership between home and school, and your engagement makes a difference.
We enjoyed discussing your child’s progress, goals, and accomplishments. Each student brings something special to our classroom community, and your support helps us continue to nurture their confidence and success. Thank you!

Thank you to our spectacular Parents Association led by Amalie Masucci for the delicious lunch they provided on Wednesday for all staff. It was such a lovely treat to enjoy during conference week.

On Friday, November 7th we will honor Veterans at our All School Meeting. The meeting will be hosted by our grade 2 teachers and students. Please have your child wear red, white or blue to school on the 7th.

The Book Fair is coming to Ambrose on Monday, October 27th. Please see additional information from Mrs. Bernardi below in this newsletter.

Best,
Mrs. Phelan :)

The Book Fair Is Coming! October 27th

It’s the greatest time of the year! Ambrose School Book Fair is coming October 27th ! The Book Fair is an amazing funding source for the library which allows more book purchases to be made for all to enjoy. Support students’ interest in reading and support the library at the same time! All students will have the opportunity to visit the Fair with their classes. Parents and Guardians are welcome and we especially encourage Parents (whose schedules will allow) to accompany younger students in Kindergarten and first grade.
A link to the class visit schedule for Monday – Friday (October 27th – Oct 31stst ) is available HERE.
Ahead of their visit, students in Grades 2 – 5 will have a short preview of the Book Fair where they can create “wish lists” to bring home and discuss with parents.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE
 We accept cash, checks and most credit cards and Apple Pay
 Fair hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 2:30 and Friday 8:00 – 12:00
 Teacher Wish Lists will be available! Surprise your child’s teacher with a new selection for the classroom!
Feel free to ask questions!

Important Reminders

Pets on School Grounds
For the safety and comfort of all students, dogs are not permitted on school property. We understand that many children are fearful of dogs, so we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing pets during arrival and dismissal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Lost and Found
To help us return lost belongings to their rightful owners, please be sure to label all of your child’s items with their full name. Last year, we donated many gently used items—beautiful coats, sweatshirts, and sweaters—to ENKA simply because they were unclaimed. We’d much rather return them to you! Please note that all items will be donated at the end of each month.
Thank you for your help! 😊

PTO Meeting November 19th

Please join the Parents Association Meeting on the 19th to hear from Melissa Newell Literacy Coordinator and Assistant Superintendent Laurie Kirby. Below is a quick note about their upcoming visit.

Welcome to Literacy Links—it’s more than a chat; it's a supportive space for our literacy family! We know you're busy, so we've packed this time with what you need most: a chance to connect with others, quick and helpful updates on local resources and happenings, inspiring ideas on how you can partner with us, and a safe, open forum to ask questions and share your wins (and worries!).
