Hello all,

The halls of Ambrose are spotless, classrooms are set, supplies are in place, and our staff is thrilled to welcome students back on September 2nd!

You should have already received a message from your child's teacher detailing everything they need for the first week.

For your convenience, the essential details are below.

Enjoy these final days of summer break! We can't wait to see everyone on Wednesday!

School Hours

Our School Hours are from 8:05 am to 2:25 pm. School Doors Open at 8:00 am

Students must be supervised by their parents/guardian before and after school hours as there is no staff supervision.

Please do not allow your children to play on the structure/playground before school. Once students arrive at school they should stand in their class line.

Early Dismissal/Early Release Days

Early dismissal Hours are 8:05 am to 11:25am

The First Day of School

All Kindergarten students will meet each morning in the cafeteria. At the end of the day they will be dismissed from the cafeteria as well.

All students in grades 1 and 2 will line up at the front of the school. Please look for signs with your teacher's name. Students in grades one and two will be dismissed from the front of the building. (main door)

All students in grades 3, 4 and 5 will line up on the playground. Please look for signs with your teacher's name.

Students in grades 3 and 4 are dismissed from the playground door.

Grade 5 students are dismissed from the side door on the Sanborn side of the Ambrose building.

Please pack a snack and a water bottle for your child each day.

Morning supervision begins at 8:00 AM. For safety reasons, please do not drop off your child(ren) before this time as staff supervision is not available.

Please note: All playground areas are closed before school, and during arrival and dismissal times. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for all students.

Lunch and Breakfast Information

Lunch is free this year for all students.

Breakfast will be served each day beginning at 7:45 am in the cafeteria.

Parent Coffee Hosted by the Parent’s Association

Welcome Coffee at the main entrance on September 2nd and 3rd after student drop off.

Our School Picture Days will be held on September 15th and 16th.

Our Ambrose Open House will be held on Wednesday, September 30th.

Open House

-Grades K to 2: 5:30 pm - 6:00pm

-Specialists: 5:45pm- 6:15 pm (Music, PE, Art and Library)

-Grades 3 to 5: 6:15 pm - 6:45 pm

Important Reminders

Pets on School Grounds

For the safety and comfort of all students, dogs are not permitted on school property. We understand that many children are fearful of dogs, so we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing pets during arrival and dismissal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Lost and Found

To help us return lost belongings to their rightful owners, please be sure to label all of your child’s items with their full name. Last year, we donated many gently used items—beautiful coats, sweatshirts, and sweaters—to ENKA simply because they were unclaimed. We’d much rather return them to you!
