Parent Newsletter

Hello all,
We had another wonderful week at Ambrose!

In the classroom, students have been hard at work learning daily routines and expectations. Every class is currently building its Classroom Charter as part of our RULER social-emotional learning curriculum.
RULER provides a shared language for social, emotional, and cognitive growth across all grade levels and subjects, from Math and Language Arts to Physical Education.

Each September, students and teachers work together to create a Charter: a set of shared norms outlining how everyone wants to feel at school and how they can support one another in achieving those feelings.

Ask your child(ren) at home if they can help you make a Charter for your family.

Here is the RULER Skills Overview for Families.

You can find parent guides, tool templates, and tip sheets on the RULER Resources for Families

Enjoy the weekend!

Important Reminders

Pets on School Grounds
For the safety and comfort of all students, dogs are not permitted on school property. We understand that many children are fearful of dogs, so we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing pets during arrival and dismissal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Lost and Found
To help us return lost belongings to their rightful owners, please be sure to label all of your child’s items with their full name. Last year, we donated many gently used items—beautiful coats, sweatshirts, and sweaters—to ENKA simply because they were unclaimed. We’d much rather return them to you!
Thank you for your help! 😊
